That's not a list of "useful objects". That's a list of (almost) all objects. As referred to in the main post, to scan for objects, I use JernejL's map editor.

Also, I updated the topic with a default map (mainly)

And the entire sumo community should thank you too. Nice guide dude, hope that this will bring us new map makers.
And a list of "useful objects" is in the demo map.

I think it did...Some of our new admins made maps themselves already Smile

It's my personal one with more objects in it (generally objects I used in my maps)

Is there any need for extra explaining on:
  • Manually adding vehicles: this isn't really hard at all if you already made a map before - Inception 2 uses it
  • Advanced settings: you don't need to be an advanced scripter for understanding these! They generally work as their definition says - description is in the topic already anyways
  • NPC's: This would require a huge effort, as making NPCs properly took me some hours. And the problem is: you can't test them at home - the test file provided doesn't contain NPC handling.

Updated 2nd August again - see changelist

Could someone make me a list of things that need updating? Don't do the work for me, just tell me what has to be done (eg new commands & new spawning)

RE: [MM]IKKE's Map Making Tutorial
I've updated the thread making it more user-friendly. I really can't figure out how to explain some parts even more easily, so if you need any help, just ask me over PM.

Map generation & settings weren't updated since map generating was taken down awaiting the release of the new sumo core.

Without the map generation online, you should only have 3 things saved:
1. Your objects
2. Your spawns
3. Positions: Z-Falloff & camera coordinates

Hi Ikke
I am not able to connect to my local host (127.0.0.1:7777). It says that Server can't connect to the server.
Here is the screenshot:

I think you have different versions of samp software. You can't connect to 0.3x server with 0.3z client. Update server or use 0.3x client

First of all Thank you for your kind attention towards me.
Secondly, How can I update my server or since, I have updated my 0.3x client to 0.3z, how can I again go back to 0.3x client? I couldn't find it on SAMP forums.
With regards
